Class Experience

This is an ongoing class. Your learner will be taught and experience a yoga practice of being mindful of their own body, through a gentle yoga body movement and stretch sequence. They will learn and practice life long tools to help make their bodies' health and wellness a priority. Learners will benefit from and practice, slowing down, checking in with themselves (mindfulness), assessing their mind & body (how they feel), and releasing stress and tension in the areas of their body that are stressed, so that they can improve the quality of their nights sleep, improve daily focus and help create better friendships. This class is built to promote mind & body wellness, relaxation, stress relief, mindfulness, and most importantly, to have fun, meeting new learners and growing in the process! Before closing the class, learners will also participate in a peaceful guided meditation. This will help learners practice the beauty of allowing their body to rest and recover for optimal mind and body recovery. There will be opportunities to ask questions, discuss thoughts and share with classmates. 

Note:  No experience is required. All learners and levels are welcome! All you need to bring to class is your yoga mat, water bottle, blanket (optional) and a positive mindset & open heart to learning new things. I'm here to partner with you on your child's life long mind & body wellness journey. Let's learn and grow together!

Parents: For best learner results, it is best that your learners have minimal stimulation (television, & cellphone use), after class, as they are trying to create a positive habit of quieting the mind and body for better sleep.

Parental Guidance
You aware and understand that yoga includes physical movement, and are responsible for the safety of your learner while attending the class. With any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present. By participating in this class, you and the learner acknowledge that your child is fit to do so, the learner is in clear communication with you regarding any previous injuries that may hinder their movement and/or progress in class, and has the proper available space to safely participate in this class. All yoga postures are suggested poses to the learner and can be modified, and/or skipped throughout the class. If they experience any pain or discomfort, they agree to listen to their body, and discontinue the activity. You assume full responsibility for any and all damages, which may occur through participation. Yoga is not a substitute for medical treatment or diagnosis.
