Description
Class Experience
You will need the following things for our afternoon tea: sliced bread butter cucumber large strawberries whipped cream mini chocolate chips (Semi sweet, milk, or white — whatever your child likes) Sprinkles A pre-made cake (any flavor but make sure it is not a cheese cake or other dense cake) cut into 1” cubes pre-made frosting (only about 1/4 cup) teabags hot water sugar milk two medium bowls microwave spatula two metal spoons wax paper paper towels tea cup/saucer plate Sharp knife Fork Dull knife Optional items: - a teapot - cookie cutter - three-tier cake stand - apron If you do not like cucumbers on your sandwiches, you may replace the butter and cucumber for peanut butter and jelly or any other items you like in your sandwich.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be handling a knife and hot liquids. Young children may need assistance with these. We must have a minimum of 3 students enrolled to host the class. If less than 3 are enrolled within approximately 24 hours before class start time, the class will be canceled.
