Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn about how diverse the Pecoran mammals used to be compared to the fewer animals we have today.
I studied paleontology at the University of Alberta. I have been on several fossil digs. I have docented for the Smithsonian museum of Natural History, specifically in its education department.
No homework will be assigned.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class will include discussions of predator prey interactions, and later will show videos of ancient deer being hunted by early humans.
