Description
Class Experience
During After School Yoga Break, learners will find their yoga bodies by sitting comfortably and tall and participate in centering breathing exercises. Next, they will start to warm up by saying hello to the sun in sun salutations and other active warm ups. After they have warmed up, students will go on a Yoga Adventure and learn different yoga poses following the theme of the class. I am a Registered as Yoga teacher and Kids Yoga Teacher with over 500 hours of professional training.
Students can bring their favorite stuffed animal (yoga buddy). Otherwise, no props are required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal assessment. There is no right or wrong way to do yoga, but I will actively communicate with parents regarding their learner's progress.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents, kindly be advised that yoga is a physical activity and there are potential hazards (including, but not limited to, needing an open work space and preferably a water bottle). Although yoga is very safe, injuries can occur if not properly supervised. Please be sure that your child is prepared to follow instructions and has an open, hazard free space to practice yoga from.
