Description

Class Experience

During this series we will learn some basic art techniques to get your middle schooler's creative juices flowing! Our class will progress as follows:

Section 1 ✏️
Drawing:
Shading/Highlighting -still life with a bowl of fruit.
- Use your own props here! Have 3-5 items


Supplies: 
Trace/Scrap paper
Sketch Pad
Assorted Pencils: 2H, 4H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B
Pencil Sharpener
Eraser- Regular and 1 kneaded eraser
Colored Pencil set of 24 (optional)


Section 2 🎨
Watercolor Painting
1. We’ll learn how to...

I have a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the Columbus College of Art & Design and have been running my own freelance art and design business for over 5 years. 
I have held art workshops both in person and online since 2018. 
I have a TEFL 150 hour certificate to teach English as a second language.

No homework is assigned unless you didn't finish your art in class- We'd love to show and tell what you created in the beginning of the next class!

At the end of each class each student is encouraged to show their progress on screen so everyone can appreciate each learners unique take on the subject.

55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
