In this one-time class, students will learn about the life of a great warrior and King of the Zulu kingdom of South Africa, Shaka.

In this one-time class, students will learn about the life and legacy of the great King and Warrior, Shaka Zulu. We will learn about Shaka's life as a child, and how he rose to become King. Learners will also gain some knowledge about South Africa and the Zulu tribe along the way. The class will be taught using a combination of story-telling, a slideshow presentation, and discussion. Students will learn about the life and legacy of Shaka Zulu.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
While this class does not include any graphic photos or videos, Shaka Zulu was known to be a ruthless leader (for example, he will sometimes have his warriors clubbed to death at the least sign of weakness). His life ended sadly in the hands of his half-brothers. I will mention these in class. Hence, parental guidance is recommended.
