US Grade 3 - 6
Students will be exposed to tales of black lives across the African Diaspora. From Brazil, to Kenya, Haiti, Texas, or the Bahamas, our students will travel the world through stories. Themes of unity, love, culture, confidence, and family will consume each page. Students will listen as I read the story to them with animation, movement, and song. For some stories, students will get to hear the native language or dialect of the region. In between pages, and at the end, out students will be able to question, share, discuss, and relate with the lives they're being exposed to. Each week's book will have a theme!
