This course will use power point presentation and photos to teach students about African Clawed Frogs. Students will learn about their natural habitat. They will learn about where they naturally live and what they eat in the wild. Students will also learn about care they need in captivity. They will learn about what they eat, and habitat requirements. Students will learn about the life cycle of the frog, and what makes them unique. They will learn about life expectancy and their coloring. During the first portion of the class, we will be viewing a powerpoint presentation that has slides with photos and videos. During the presentation, I will be doing a screen share so the students are able to view everything on the slides. Unfortunately during this time students will be unable to see their class mates as the zoom screen will be minimized. We will still have discussions and questions during that time to allow it to be more personalized than just a slide show. After the presentation I will take the screen share off so they will be able to see all of their class mates. I will also set the computer up so they can see my tank. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee the animals will be cooperative so they can see them, but I will make every attempt to allow them an opportunity of a live show.
