Description

Class Experience

In this 25 minute class students will learn about several famous African American and their contributions to the world.  The students will learn about Garret Morgan, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and   Mae Jemison.  

The teacher will teach the topic through  the use of books and pictures. During the class teacher-student interaction will be fostered through age appropriate discussion on the topic and games.  Students will  also have an opportunity to participate in hands on activities by...

Students will improve their understanding of the contributions African Americans have made to the world.

  2 files available upon enrollmentHandouts provided by the teacher.
Black, red, green, and yellow Construction  paper (optional)
Crayons
glue/ glue stick
child safe scissors or parent may  pre -cut the pieces
