Hello Little Adventurers! Who’s ready to travel to AFRICA?! LET’S GO! In this class children will be introduced to the continent Africa! Together we will look at the size and location of the continent. Learners will then explore some of the key features and characteristics of the continent. In Africa, learners will look at animals and their habitats, some continent superlatives and one of the Wonders of the World! This class is designed in a way that no background knowledge is required! The class will be interactive and full of discussions! Learners are encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts throughout the class. There will also be a one page colouring that learners can do during class if they need something to keep their little hands busy! Who’s coming to Africa? Mute/Unmute: We try not to mute learners during class. If your learner has background noise they may be muted and this will be communicated to them. Please make sure that learners are able to unmute their microphones or grownups are nearby to support.
Technical Issues: If you are experiencing technical issues during class time please try logging out of zoom and back in. Teachers like to be fully present for other learners during class time so may not be able to answer messages sent. If the problem persists please contact Outschool Support.
Teacher Substitutions: We are an organisation with a group of teachers. In some instances another teacher may substitute for another (in the event of sickness/appointments/other engagments). This will be communicated as soon as possible to learners and parents.
