US Grade 1 - 4
In this class students will learn the difference between adverbs and adjectives. We will cover what an adverb is, what an adjective is, and how they are different. We will use powerpoint to see examples and have questions and answers. For example, I might show a slide and say, "Yoda gives wise advice. Is wise an adjective or an adverb? It is an adjective." or I might show a slide and say, "Han Solo moved quickly. Is quickly an adjective or an adverb?" I am upbeat and encouraging. Learners will interact with questions, answers and discussion about the slides and adjectives and adverbs. There is no prior knowledge needed, except to listen and follow directions. Time permitting we will play a game.
Learning Goals
Students will learn what an adverb is and what an adjective is, and the difference between the two.
