US Grade Kindergarten - 1
In this ongoing class, we will focus on learning about Dinosaurs, Marine Reptiles, and Prehistoric animals and their characteristics and habitats. In each class, we will focus on two dinosaurs, marine reptiles, or prehistoric animals. If the dinosaur, marine reptile, or prehistoric animal is so fascinating, we may focus on just that one for that particular class. In class, we will learn each dinosaur's characteristics, habitat, and geographic location. We will compare and contrast each dinosaur that we learn in class. The class is prehistoric dinosaur-themed and we will use dinosaurs, animals, and archeology-themed items, cars, and buildings to reference the weight and height of the dinosaur so that the learner can have the context of the weight and height of the dinosaurs. Each class will have dinosaur video clips, dinosaur slides, and a discussion of the dinosaurs covered. In class, we will also focus on the colors, size, diet, and characteristics of the dinosaurs, marine reptiles, and prehistoric animals. I will provide a worksheet for students of each dinosaur for each class. For last-minute enrollers, I will send the worksheets before the class begins that you are enrolled in. Printing is not required. This is an ongoing course so you can subscribe and unsubscribe at any time. Class is at a beginner level. Students are encouraged to bring their dinosaurs to class. In each class, we have "Dino Show-and-Tell". Each student will have time to show their dinosaurs, give a description of their dinosaurs, and interact with the other students. Each learner MUST be registered for each class. This includes siblings. Each sibling will need to be registered for the class. If there is background noise that is distracting for the class, that learner's microphone will be muted.
