Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about different famous artists and some of the artwork they created.
Some students work faster, some slower. If your child is more methodical about their work, they may not finish their project during class.
Each class will require different supplies, but nothing out of the ordinary, or expensive. I will suggest alternatives, when possible, to help with the cost and difficulties of getting out and gathering the supplies. Often used: - Cardstock or construction paper - Watercolors (Crayola is fine) - Acrylic paints - Markers - Sharpies - Colored pencils - Old magazines - Scissors - Ruler - Oil Pastels - Pencil and eraser - Glue stick - A newspapers, a plastic table covering, or something similar, to protect the workspace.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
At the end of the lesson, students will share their work with the class and say something about what they have learned, and what they like about their work.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There are times when we use scissors in our projects. Please use your discretion and supervise your child if you think it is necessary.
