US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
G'day mates! Come down under and join me for a fun class with kid's beloved TV characters Bluey and Bingo! When it's Bingo's turn to bring her Kindergarten Bob Bilby puppet home, she is supposed to take pictures and show what a good time she is having with Bob and all the adventures they get into. But instead, the family realizes that they need to put down their phones, tablets, and screen games so they don't bore Bob just watching toons all weekend! - In this class, we will read the fun "Bluey Bob Bilby" book by author Joe Brumm while talking about what's going on in the story. We will make real-life connections to what Bluey and Bingo experience, talk about what we would do if we had Bob come home with us, and if we've ever had a "class pet" or puppet come home with us. - While we listen to the story, we will make our own puppet craft! Please check supply list below for details. - Lastly, we will play a fun game of BINGO! (not the character, but the fun game!) I can't wait to meet you! Teacher Miranda Classroom Rules for parents to be aware of: - We will utilize Mute/Unmute throughout class to eliminate background noises and for students to be able to listen and focus during classtime. All students will have a turn to talk, but please be aware of these procedures in case your child needs assistance. - Please review teacher & Outschool's attendance policy that any learner that appears on screen must be enrolled. Siblings and friends are welcome to share a screen during class, but all much be a paid enrollment. - Parents are encouraged to be nearby to assist with any IT concerns. Teacher does not account for IT problems in our class duration. Please no adults in the computer frame per Outschool's policies.
Learning Goals

Parental Guidance
Your child may need assistance and/or supervision with:
- Mute/Unmute functions
- Using glue/tape (depending on your supplies)
- Safely using scissors (or parent can cut out the craft)
- Understanding how to play BINGO
Supply List
- Printer to print pages before class (you'll receive an attachment upon enrollment) - Scissors and tape/glue to assemble the puppet - If you are going for quick and simple - crayons/colored pencils/markers are fine to decorate with! - If you want to make something a little craftier, grab anything you have - felt, cotton balls, pom poms, glitter, sequin, pipe cleaners, construction papers, stickers, etc. feel free! (Don't forget the glue or tape depending on your supplies). ** No set requirements, just anything you have on hand should be fine. :-) - NOTE: *The true Bob Bilby puppet is made from felt/cloth which you will see in the template attachment when you enroll, but we are using paper for convenience. Feel free to use felt pieces with the template so it's more durable and lasts longer, as we know a paper puppet won't last forever. :-) This may take a run to the store and some assistance tracing the template onto the felt, cutting out with sharper scissors, and gluing. So please be aware of those needs if you go that route. Again, paper is perfectly fine but is just not as durable.
