CREATIVITY WELCOME!

**OLYMPIC EDITION - we will learn about these animal athletes and include Olympic themes in our drawings!**

(Warning: These projects have a high likelihood of capturing the learner's attention and engagement!)

At Adventures Art Studio, students will be guided to draw animals with step-by-step instructions and interesting facts will be shared along the way. Once they complete the drawing of the featured animal, they can use various materials to create a background related to marine animals. Students are free to choose any medium they like, such as paint, markers, clay or stickers.

The learners have the option to turn their picture into a story or character after completing it. Additionally, they may continue to work on their picture outside of class and share their work during the next class or on the class page, if they choose to do so.
*Participation is encouraged in whatever form your learner is most comfortable, the goal of the class is to have fun learning about and drawing animals. During drawing I will check in with learners, offering support when needed.

I have more than 20 years of experience teaching and creating with children in various settings including leading camps, afterschool programs, and other children's programs. Over the last six years, I have taught young learners online and homeschooled my own children. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and I am passionate about utilizing my knowledge and research skills to educate children about the fascinating world of animals.
