Class Experience

Students will learn the basics of Dungeons & Dragons. Through the lens of play, we will explore topics like cooperation, social justice, friendship, geography, history and critical thinking.
Players will need the following: -A pencil and some paper (for notes that you might want to make) -A set of gaming dice that include the following (or a digital dice roller) D4: Four-sided dice. D6: Six sided dice. D8: Eight sided dice. D10: 10 sided dice. D00: 10 percentile dice. D12: 12 sided dice. D20: 20 sided dice.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Their will be action and harrowing circumstances. The choices the players make will have consequences. Violence will be part of the game but not glorified.
