Students will learn:
- New songs
- How to sign the colors of the rainbow in ASL
- To identify items in the world around them that match each color

I am well into my third year of teaching preschool and kindergarten classes here on Outschool.  I taught theatre, English, and offered literacy coaching and support for five years in both Colorado and New York City.  In that time, I also taught a social/emotional curriculum to a group of girls once per week.  I have BFAs in both theatre and English, as well as an MFA in acting and an MA in education with an emphasis in culturally diverse learners.

There will be no homework, but I will provide a fun extension activity via a personal message after class is over.

I will check for understanding throughout the class both verbally and through our play to ensure that students are engaged and learning throughout class.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

We will sing a song to the tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb
We will read Blue Hat, Green Hat by Sandra Boynton
