In this 8-week course, we will teach your student Spanish as they would be taught in school.
Class experience
OVERVIEW: This is a semester-long course where students will get a comprehensive introduction to Spanish -- which will include reading, writing, and speaking. This will start with the basics of building a strong Spanish foundation. It is designed to be an ongoing course, and the speed of the content taught will be determined by how fast the learners in the class are learning. This course will assume no (or some) basic knowledge of Spanish (i.e. alphabet, counting, weather, colors, and basic...
By the end of the semester, the student will know the basic structure of Spanish, grammar, conjugation, and be able to speak with basic knowledge and awareness of the mechanics of the language.
I have been speaking Spanish for over 30 years. I am bilingual. I have taught Spanish internationally and as a professional tutor for over 10 years. I have also worked with the Peruvian consulate as a translator.
Homework Offered
There will be homework - which will follow what was studied the course on that day, but will be no more than an hour and will only be given to reinforce the content taught.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
This course will work with persons and also can write up formal assessments on request.Grades Offered
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Language and content will be age appropriate.
Although there will be a structure to the course that is guided by school curriculum, there will be no need or no books given.
