Advanced Level
Each week in this class students will be introduced to important and advanced vocabulary words. They will explore word definitions, origins and usage. They will read the words in context in various reading passages and practice using the words. This class gives students a chance to regularly work on their writing and vocabulary and receive teacher feedback on all submitted writing samples. In each meeting of this class students will be introduced to at least four vocabulary words. Students...
Students will learn the meaning and usage of many advanced vocabulary words and use them in their writing. Students will practice writing sentences and receive feedback that is designed to improve their overall writing output.
Homework Offered
Each class has writing prompts for 4 sentences given during class. The expectation is that the students will begin their writing in class and finish the assignment as needed during the course of the same day. Writing should be submitted the same day of class for teacher feedback to be given by the next day.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Learners will receive their writing samples returned with notes from the teacher.Grades Offered
