Class Experience

Intermediate - Advanced Level
Are you ready to master the violin? Are you working on concertos, sonatas, or advanced violin repertoire? Are you preparing for an audition or a performance? Have you been searching for an expert teacher to help you advance and meet your playing goals?

Improve your skills with a fun and friendly teacher who is also a violin expert! You will learn from teachers who have violin performance degrees and years of violin playing, teaching, and performing experience.

This class is learner-centered and tailored to meet your needs and goals. In your first lesson, you'll meet your teacher and share the skills and songs you are learning. You can share any sheet music or repertoire with your teacher ahead of time, or get advice on which music books to use after your first lesson. Right away, you'll get friendly advice for improving on the violin. Your teacher will also give you practice ideas so you'll be ready to advance with every lesson. You will set playing and practice goals with teacher guidance and direction.

Example skills that you'll improve include (but are not limited to):
🎻Building an advanced repertoire
🎻Choosing songs and exercises
🎻Dynamics
🎻Vibrato
🎻First through seventh position with shifting
🎻Phrasing
🎻Bowing styles (martele, spicatto, ricochet, sautille)
🎻Double-Stops

***This class is ideal for young violinists with at least two years of playing experience or who are at Suzuki Book 3, RCM Grade 4, or beyond. Beginners will love our 1:1 Private Lessons instead.***
