Description
Class Experience
I have been a certified veterinarytechnician for more than 30 years in a mixed animal practice that also sees exotics and injured wildlife. I have been teaching at a local community college in a veterinary Assistant Program and a variety of Veterinary Science programs for grades 3-5, 6-8, and high school. I also teach in an equine studies program at a local private university as well. Along with all that I am also a homeschool mom! At home, my family has 3 mini horses, a Paint horse, 5 Nigerian dwarf goats, 9 chickens and 3 cats! I am passionate about sharing my experience and love for animals and veterinary medicine with others!
Optional project ideas are provided most weeks. Additional YouTube video links will be provided, safely embedded in the classroom for those wanting to learn more on each topic
