Class experience
In this 7 week class for advanced sewists, learners will create knit overalls customized to their preferences. The pattern we will be using allows for multiple lengths, top and strap options. Learners will learn how to attach various types of hardware and/or attach buttons and button holes. The overalls we will be making will be made of knit fabric instead of denim, unlike traditional overalls. This makes the garment soft and extra comfy to wear. Sewing machine or serger Sewing kit Iron Knit fabric (see pattern for length) Hooks or buttons for straps (ask me if you have questions) Pattern (must be purchased and assembled ahead of time)
We will be using scissors, sewing machines, irons and other potentially dangerous materials. Parent supervision is recommended.
