What will be taught?
Students will learn and apply math concepts using Minecraft. Topics include multiplication, fractions, geometry, area, perimeter, and spatial reasoning, all through interactive builds and hands-on coding challenges within the Minecraft world.

The course covers:

Multiplication and division in practical scenarios.
-Fractions and their applications in crafting and building.
-Geometry, including shapes, angles, area, and perimeter.
-Spatial reasoning using coordinates and Minecraft's 3D environment.
-How is your class structured?
-Each class is structured to include:

A brief introduction to the math concept.
An interactive Minecraft build or challenge where students apply the concept.
A review and reflection period where students discuss what they learned and share their builds.

The instructor uses a hands-on, interactive approach where students actively participate in coding and building within Minecraft. Direct demonstrations and guided challenges help reinforce math concepts. Problem-solving tasks ensure real-world application of skills.

- Minecraft BEDROCK edition - which is available on PC, Xbox, Playstation, Mobile, Nintendo Switch, and more!
- Signed into your Microsoft account (so we can add each other as friends)

If the student wants to join to work on their world and talk about Minecraft with others but NOT play on the server, the above is not required.

Note: Bedrock version does not work on Mac.
