Description

Class Experience

This interactive class will teach a new game each week to help students learn and review their multiplication facts.  We will use a common deck of cards to learn our facts from 0-12.  Students will play the games together led by the teacher. 

Week of November 29: Multiplication War
Week of December 6: Flip 3 (multiplying 3 numbers)
Week of December 13: More or Less
Week of December 20: Memory Match

This class will reinforce math skills that are vital for success.  Multiplication facts are the basis for all higher math skills.  Students will have the opportunity to learn these facts in an engaging manner.

Students should spend 10-15 minutes a day practicing math facts for success.  These games can be completed in that amount of time.

A full deck of playing cards

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
