What's included

1 in-class hours per weekClass Experience
Join Teacher Jenna each week to practice advanced kindergarten math skills! *The skills taught in this class are within the general kindergarten curriculum but scaffold up in difficulty and give opportunities for more practice both in class and outside of class. Some topics will be a review before building up to a higher skill. *This class is good for students who have mastered counting to 20 (or more), identifying numbers beyond 20 (in class we will work with double digit numbers to 30 (when adding) and practice working on a 100's chart). *If at any time you feel this class is too difficult for your child, they can unenroll since this is an ongoing class. I also offer a regular level kindergarten math skills ongoing class that may be a better fit. If you have any questions about which math class is best for your learner, please send me a message! I am happy to help! Class Activities: - For each topic, we will usually start class with a math song from Jack Hartmann! - I have my own interactive slide shows to teach from that have built in practice opportunities. - We will utilize working with a whiteboard in marker in almost every class. Some classes may require a worksheet to be printed out for work in class. I will also provide additional (optional) at home work each week to keep the learning going! -At the beginning of the week I will post a message that includes anything that will be needed in class (outside of a whiteboard & marker) and the at home work with directions/tips.
