I am a patient, enthusiastic, positive, challenging, and motivating teacher. I always have a lesson plan, but can be flexible as mentioned if required. Students will continue to learn to understand and communicate in Italian in a range of everyday situations, Continue to develop basic skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Italian, learn vocabulary and expressions to talk about every day and familiar topics, become more aware of the culture and diversity of Italy and its regions, and develop study skills to become a successful language learner.
I don't assign homework, but I encourage doing something throughout the week, such as picking out an everyday object and then learning its name in Italian, or choosing a favorite subject we can translate while practicing vocabulary during the lesson
I encourage students to stay organized with the use of notebooks and a folder to keep worksheets organized. I do informal assessments as we go, to evaluate learning progress
