Students will find grammar errors in the context of an ongoing story, Chanticleer. The story is an abridged version of one of the Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer.

Class Experience

 This class uses the IEW Grammar book, Chanticleer.  IEW is changing its Fix It series.  Now is your chance to use the book you already have sitting on your shelf!  **I need 6 students to run this class. 

Many of you have completed several of the Fix It books with me!  This is the only time I will offer this class, because this book has been discontinued.  Contact me if you do not already have the book.

Student will be well-prepared for high school and college grammar after this class.

I recommend students prepare for each class by spending 10 minutes previewing the lesson and marking what they already know.  Occasionally, they will have 30 minutes of homework.

2 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
