Class Experience

Hi everyone! In this one hour boot camp students can learn all advanced features of Google Docs. Class is structured into two parts and will cover these topics; advanced formatting, file export and conversion, Word vs Docs, and template creation.  There is NO prior knowledge required, but it is strongly suggested to take my Google Classroom Bootcamp course before this one.

*Students will need to have their own Google Account to participate (Gmail), instructions are available when you sign up to help parents set up up for their child* 

Formatting: 35 Minutes
- Outline Formatting
- Design Formatting
- Image Formatting

Additional Tools: 20 Minutes
- File Export and Conversion
- Word Vs Docs (similarities and differences)
- Template Creation
- Sharing Functionality

Learning Goals

Students will be able to develop a higher level of understanding and skill in Google Docs by modeling the teachers instructions and on screen examples.

Supply List

Student's will need to have their OWN PERSONAL Gmail account. This needs to be set up PRIOR to the start of class. A parent/school owned account will not work. Instructions on how to create an account will be provided upon joining the class.

Hi! My name is Charles Rotunno. I am a full time teacher of Technology in New Jersey.  I teach a variety of technology courses including Computer Literacy, Business Marketing, and Robotics.  I have been teaching for 6 years and also own an IT Consulting Company for the last 10 years.  I want teaching to enable practical skills in my students that allow them to grow individually and give them new career opportunities.  When I'm not teaching I'm training for a marathon/triathlon or snowboarding up and down the East Coast!
