In this weekly class, we will explore different themes in French, which we will discuss using a prompt to strike conversation.
Class experience
This class is geared towards learners who have strong knowledge of verbs and grammar in French. For the first 15 minutes, we will approach a theme using media such as excerpts from books, movies, newspapers, etc. Based on that, a set of questions will be asked to strike a conversation. The student will learn theme-specific vocabulary, and also get more experience with the French language through listening/reading comprehension and speaking. I am a native French speaker and have done a lot of tutoring and teaching French to kids. My strategy is to engage the student and make it as pleasant and fun as possible, so that learning comes naturally.
