In this workshop geared for dancers, students will receive coaching, exercises, and stretches to help them achieve a needle scale/straight scorpion. The class will include a warm-up, active stretching techniques, splits stretches, and back stretches. I am a very hands-on teacher in the face-to-face classroom and strive to teach in the same way online. I have been a dance teacher for nearly 15 years and have experience teaching flexibility training and tricks like needle scale and straight scorpion.

Parents should be aware that dance, acrobatic and gymnastic tricks can result in injuries like pulled muscles or strains. Parents should observe their children during the class and make sure they have proper workout space, which is clear from items a student might kick or hit during their class. Students should pay close attention to the instructor and follow the warmup to avoid injury. It is also recommended that parents ensure that their child can hold a flat split on at least the right or left.
