Fashion History and Design Fashion History Design Club - Fashion Model Drawing & Outfit Sketches This course is for the fashion historians and budding fashion designers. This course will combine art history (fashion history) and drawing. Each class we will objectly explore a fashion year, theme or big event in society with the help of primary and secondary sources. Through sources, and images of historical fashion, we as a group will get to take a closer, unbiased look at the events, and...
Students will learn about patterns in history, that directly impacted fashion styles and trends. Students will improve figure drawing and fashion drawing through using proportion and other drawing techniques and step by step guidance.
I have a Masters in Arts Management and a Bachelor of Arts in both Fine Arts and History. I have been teaching for 10 years in schools and art galleries to children aged 3 - 17 in ESL, Drama, and Art. I am a practicing private fashion illustrator working. I work with each student individually -- no matter the class size, together we consider their creative style and celebrate their individual artistic mark.
