I am a certified teacher with 7 years of experience. I have received extensive training in ELA topics and receive professional development monthly in order to perfect my teaching skills and learn best practices. I have also received sensitivity training through my place of employment (a public school), as well as differentiating instruction training to foster inclusion in the classroom.

All of the books selected are appropriate for middle schoolers and are commonly utilized in schools. However, there are themes or topics in the books/short stories chosen that your learner might not be comfortable with.
