Objective: This ongoing course offers students the experience to read various texts and analyze them closely on a first grade level while applying a specific skill for each class. Students will explore vocabulary, story elements, reading strategies like: comprehension, asking/answering questions, comparing and contrast, making predictions, inferencing, reading fluency, and writing. - Students will strengthen critical and analytical thinking skills. We will be inferencing, making predictions, and identifying important details that will guide our thinking.
I am a certified special education teacher which means I have the resources and qualifications to meet the needs of all learners. I am able to scaffold lessons and differentiate instruction as needed during lessons.
