This invite-only course is for serious debaters with previous experience who are motivated to participate in debate competitions.

US Grade 7 - 10
Advanced Level
In this 8 week course debaters will prepare topics and argumentation and then engage in debate competitions. Weeks 1,2,5 and 6 will be spent in practice and debate preparation. Weeks 3,4, 7 and 8 will be debate competition weeks. Critiques will be given on format and context and learners will engage with each other, both in peer evaluation and self-evaluation. Various types of debates will be introduced and practiced including parliamentary, Lincoln-Douglas and team policy types of debate....
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
