Students should have prior experience with doing Country line dance before signing up for this class. Students should know a minimum of one intermediate country line dance prior to signing up for an advanced class. I am the owner/instructor of Dance Away Dance Lessons. I have been teaching in person classes for over two years and have also been teaching zoom online classes for over a year.
Students will be dancing to the song Anthem by Thomas Rhett. Please listen to the song prior to enrolling in the class to make sure you are comfortable with your students hearing those lyrics. Students should have an open area with no tripping hazards, such as a living room with furniture pushed aside. Students should also wear tennis shoes for class. This is a low-key dance and does not contain strenuous dance moves. As with any physical activity, there is always a risk. If students attempt to dance in shoes with heels or flip flops they risk twisting an ankle.
