Homework
1 hour per week. Learners will be given notes and optional workbook assignments for at-home practice. They will also regularly get Spanish digital flashcards with audio to facilitate practicing Spanish after class throughout the week.Class Experience
Have a Spanish learner who already knows some basics and is ready to advance their Spanish speaking, fluency, and confidence to the next level? Whether as an addition to a current Spanish class your learner is taking or a standalone class, this weekly private class will help your learner enjoy the magic of Spanish at their own pace and level! My philosophy is to help guide students to explore Spanish vocabulary, sentences, and conversation and know that making mistakes is OKAY and part of learning a new language! During class, I encourage a lot of student speaking and reading and guide students to use Spanish correct grammar and pronunciation. Depending on their needs and level, I'll recommend one of several Spanish workbook options for students to use during class and for at-home practice. - Technology/Materials: Depending on the lesson, students will either have printable handouts and/or digital Google Jamboard worksheets (no login required) to use during class. I will also send Quizlet flashcards regularly for students to be able to continue practicing Spanish at home.
Learning Goals
Depending of student's needs and level (I'll reach out to check if they're already taking another Spanish class or have particular needs), we'll cover the standard "advanced beginner" Spanish sequence of creating questions and sentences in Spanish, grammar and pronunciation, and more!
