Beginner Level
This class is for learners with some knowledge of french language. This is an ongoing class, so learners can hop in at anytime . Each week, we will learn vocabulary with the French translations of English words. We will also learn the relevant grammatical structures needed to use the vocabulary in sentences Course Requirements: To ensure your child is ready for this course, they should have a basic understanding of: Basic French Words Numbers 0-20 Self-introduction Greetings/ days of the week/ months of the year. Here is a list of themes I will be covering. Some themes will be broken up over multiple classes and some will be combined. Week of Aug 26 : Greeting- Les salutations formel et informel Week of sept 2: Classroom objects-Les objets de la classe et les articles Week of sept 9: Review of numbers 1-20. Introduction to numbers 21-50 Week of sept 16: Introduction to Avoir verbs Week of sept 23: My family; physical description Week of sept30 :Possessive Adjectives Les adjectifs possessifs Week of sept 7: All about animals/Tu as un animal?
