Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their ballet technique while learning musicality, memorization, and coordination.
I am a professional ballet dancer and have trained in ballet for over 20 years.
Dancers will need something to simulate a ballet barre such as a chair or counter top that is slightly lower than their shoulder height. Dancers are also asked to wear a leotard and tights for this class, a ballet skirt is also acceptable. Ballet shoes or socks must be worn and hair must be up in a ponytail or bun.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents are advised to make sure dancers have adequate space to dance and a floor that is not slippery. We will also be stretching in this class and but the dancers are encouraged not to over stretch any muscle.
