Class Experience

Students will advance in their knowledge of organ systems-improving their ability to critically think and apply concepts learned with presented scenarios.
A Doctor of Physical Therapy-Doctoral Studies in Education. My Doctoral Physical Therapy program curriculum required an in-depth study of Anatomy/Physiology, Neuro Anatomy (among other sciences) and Human Dissection of everybody organ. My State Physical Therapy Licensure requires me to attend 30 hours of continued education every 2 years-staying abreast of documented advances and research of disability as pertaining to dysfunctional organisms. I have practiced as a physical therapist for 40 years-treating pediatrics (newborn-through adulthood) geriatrics (65year plus population) and all ages in between providing rehabilitation and education to debilitated patients due to dysfunction of bodily organs. During my 40 years as practicing therapist, I have trained and supervised physical therapy students. Worked as team player with medical doctors/ surgeons, nurses and other allied health professionals to restore patients with physical limitations due to unhealthy function of bodily organs (whether from disease process, aging, trauma genetics).
I have taught 8-12 year old’s and 13-16 year old's on Outschool platform for past (6) months for my (2) other Science courses with awesome reviews.
No formal homework assignments- however students will most likely have greater retention if they review their notes while listening to recorded video of session.
Students should come to class with paper and writing utensil- note writing is strongly recommended.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Ongoing informal assessment of students in classroom.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
No sensitive subject-however it is important to note that classes are purely informational and not designed to replace the seeking of professional medical advice.
