I am a 4th degree certify black belt in Tae Kwon Do. For the last 24 years, I have had the honor and privilege to work with children passing on this ancient art. Whether it has been within a county’s educational system, a summer camp, a private group or my own studio, I enjoy being able to teach children something new and watch their confidence build as they learn. I have experience working with typical as well as children with special needs.
For the student to fully experience class, please make sure students have all the supplies on day one. 12 paper towel rolls . or 4 paper towel rolls with yoga blocks, boxes or any other object that can make the paper towels taller. One Pillow.
During the class we will discuss how to resolve conflicts and potential dangers. It will a be in an age appropriate language as well as in a game form. Please provide ample room for the student to take the class, as we are moving constantly. If the room has wood floors or tile please don't wear socks as they may be slippery. Student most wear pants and a top, that allow for movement. As part of the class the student will warm-up and stretch, before starting the days lesson
