I have been teaching dance for the past 3 years, and I have taught beginner/intermediate level dance in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical. In addition, I have choreographed many middle school productions. I also have a minor in dance, Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be participating in a physical fitness/movement activities throughout the class. Please be aware that your child can end up injuring themselves. Therefore please make sure your child has sufficient dance space, proper footwear (choice of ballet shoes, or barefoot/socks). In addition, I encourage all students to have a water bottle nearby and the student is warmed up before class to avoid injury’s. Parental supervision is strongly encourage to help your dancer assure there safety and spacial awareness.
