Shopping for groceries and supplies can be a daunting experience. With all the choices, and products, and sales tags, and flashy labels, and other hassled shoppers: it can be overwhelming! This course will use discussion, slides, and demonstrations to help young people navigate through the process of planning for a shopping trip to stock up on household necessities. The idea is to help young people that are getting ready for independent living to feel more confident and prepared to be able to manage their own home space as a safe and clean environment. For themselves!
No homework will be assigned, but I will encourage you to practice!
Some way to take notes would be helpful for future reference.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No formal assessment
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
