We will write handwritten letters to our favorite book author.
Class experience
Adored Author is a one-time class that teaches children how to write personal handwritten letters by writing a letter to their favorite book author. We will practice formatting a letter, brainstorming information that goes into a letter, and organizing ideas in a way that makes sense. Students will be able to free write their letters based on the information shared during the brainstorming session. Following the class, parents can choose to mail this letter to the author's publisher. ...
