Description

Class Experience

In this one time class, students will be learning to draw an adorable dragon and use watercolor techniques to paint it. We will break down the subject into simple shapes and then refine our drawing. Watercolor painting techniques will cover wet on dry, dry brush, wet on wet, lifting color for mistakes and effects, washes and layers as needed for the project.

Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start...

Drawing techniques, watercolor painting techniques.

Non-toxic, child-safe watercolor paint set. 
Assortment of watercolor paint brushes.
Cup of water.
White watercolor paper. (I highly recommend that watercolor paper is used for the success of the learner.)
Pencil and eraser.
Paper towel.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

We will be using a cup of water with our watercolor paints. Please make sure all electronics are protected from water spills.
Use only non-toxic, child-safe watercolor paints.
