Beginner Level

Adopt Me! is the most popular game on the Roblox platform. Adopt Me can be extremely confusing if you are new. They are pets to take care of, weekly updates, house building, and so much more. If you are new to Adopt Me, this is the class for you! I am here to teach you all of the ways and getting you playing the game!

Each week we will begin with sharing time. Learners can share something about the game or anything else they'd like to share. Sharing is completely optional.

Each week I will share a new topic of the game. Topics can include aging pets, Neons, Megas, potions, trading, house building, and more. I will tailor the topics specifically to the interests and skill level of the enrolled learners.

Additionally, learners can participate in 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗼𝗻-𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗼𝗻-𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 is an exclusive project for my enrolled Adopt Me learners. Here is how it works:

𝟭. The game is personalized for each learner in the class.
𝟮. Each learner gets a choice of 3 different pets they would like to have.
𝟯.Once the learner chooses a pet, they will receive 3 of the same pets.
𝟰. During and after class, they can take as much time as they would like to grow up their pets.
𝟱. Once they grow up 3 of the pets, I will provide them with a 4th fully grown pet. They can then make their neon.
𝟲.Once they complete their neon, they can chose a different pet to make a new neon, or they can have 3 more of the same pet to continue and continue to make a Mega.

This challenge happens at the learners own pace whenever they feel like playing Adopt Me!

I am very excited to meet your learner and to bring them lots of fun and enriching activities for a wonderful time. Every child is special and I want them to feel comfortable and be themselves 💖

Learning Goals

Children will practice social, public speaking skills, listening, and gaming etiquette skills.

They will continue to develop these skills as well as strengthen their emotional, interpersonal, and communicative skills.

Parental Guidance

Adopt Me is rated as all ages in Roblox and appropriate for all learners. We will only play Adopt Me in a private server and only enrolled learners will be able to access the server. Occasionally I will show Adopt Me update videos from the official Playadoptme youtube channel. I will never show other Adopt Me videos or youtube influencers

Learners will need one device for Roblox and one device for Zoom. On non-gameplay days, the list of supplies will vary each week. I will provide ample time to obtain supplies and will also have alternative suggestions for those with limited supplies.

I've worked with children for 20 years, starting as a camp counselor teaching drama classes.
