What will be taught?
Your mission: Imagine you want to adopt a pet in a Spanish-speaking country. You arrive at the adoption center and need to provide information about yourself to gain their confidence and qualify for adoption. To prepare for this scenario, you will learn how to introduce yourself, state where you are from, where you live, and explain why you want to adopt a pet. This exercise will help you master the essential questions and answers that often arise in any first conversation in Spanish.

What topics will you cover?

Basic self-introduction phrases (name, age, where you live, what you do)
Key vocabulary related to pets and animals (types of pets, characteristics, needs)
Phrases for discussing personal interests and likes for adopting a pet
Practice filling out a pet adoption form in Spanish

How is your class structured?
The class will be structured in a combination of activities, interactive activities, and practical exercises:

What's your teaching style?
My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I believe in creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing their Spanish. I use a combination of visual, auditory, and gamified teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and keep the class engaging and enjoyable.

How much will learners get to interact with you?
Learners will have multiple opportunities to interact with me throughout the lesson. They will engage in:

Live sessions during and after each section of the lesson.
Direct feedback during role-playing activities and practice exercises.
Interactive games and activities that require participation and engagement.
Small group discussions where I will facilitate and guide conversations.

Hello! Thank you for your interest in my classes. Here's a little about me.
I have been a language teacher for over twelve years. My native languages are Spanish and English. I have completed many courses in language instruction and curriculum development but I have gained the most knowledge from the many years of teaching.
I first began my language teaching journey teaching the kids in my care Spanish, later I moved to Mexico and began teaching English in the classroom but my passion for teaching language really ignited when I began my own summer language camps for kids.
In the past couple of years I have learned ways to translate my methods of teaching to the online platform.
I have developed my own style and method of teaching using a natural and interest based approach. Experience has taught me that children learn best when their interest is sparked. I am always learning new ways to improve my student’s experience with learning a new language,
I know learning languages can open up many opportunities to explore new worlds and meet new people. I hope to soon spark a love for learning a new language in your children.
