Welcome my fellow historians! In this class, we are going to critically examine the role of Adolf Hitler as the leader of Germany. We will look at his use of propaganda, fear, and complete control and consider the impacts of his dictatorship in Germany. Most importantly we will look at his flaws as a leader which led to the fall of Nazi Germany and the defeat of the German army once again. Students will critically examine Adolf Hitler as a leader. Students will discuss and debate the flaws in Hitler's leadership and the Nazi ideology.
I am a certified intermediate and senior teacher with an undergraduate degree in History. I have studied the topic of World War Two extensively and have successfully completed many university-level courses on aspects of WWII, with a specific focus on dictators and the Holocaust. I am willing to answer any questions prior to the class about what students can expect if they are concerned about the sensitivity of the topic.
In this class, we will be discussing the details of Hitler's leadership which will include his role in World War Two and the Holocaust. There will be no graphic images or media but there may be the discussion of these events which include death and mistreatment.
