Adobe Photoshop: Basic and Introductory Training!

Are you interested in using Adobe Photoshop but are unsure where to begin? In this class we will cover all the basics of Photoshop to set you up for success! Each week we will cover using new tools and techniques to use within Photoshop and expand on these ideas. Students will create their own Photoshop graphics and be able to ask questions specific to what they are making. By the end of this course, students will have made their own poster highlighting anything they want using the tools they have learned throughout the class.

Week One: Creating Basic Shapes and Movement

Week Two: Color and Gradients

Week Three: Using Type

Week Four: Image Adjustments and Filters 

Week Five: Object Selection Tool and Creating PNG’s

Week Six: Beginning Poster Creation: Brainstorming and Getting Started

Week Seven: Continuing Poster Creation: Finalize Ideas and Saving 

Week Eight: Final Class: Poster Presentation

Each week of this class builds on what students have learned in the previous classes, therefore it is very important students are in attendance for every class. Students should be engaging in class by following along with my demonstration on their own computers so they can ask any questions that may arise.
