This is a one time class to learn, practice, and identify adjectives. We will start the class with a video related to adjectives and after that, each student will pick a family member to describe him/her. They will be using adjectives, without realizing they are. Students will: - Identify adjectives - Match adjectives and Nouns - Describe a picture using adjectives - Write and complete sentences using adjectives - Play an interactive adjective game Students would interact with the teacher and other students. Students will be asked to get items from around the house and describe them. They will also describe the item that the other student has to interact with. Please make sure your student is familiar with the annotate option from Zoom. After class, the students can color a fun activity. I will send a coloring sheet to parents. Ask the student to write a couple of sentences describing the Project. Please post it back to the class page if you want to, other parents, kids, and me would love to see it. Be ready to have fun as you learn. Learning is fun, interesting, and great!... we can keep using adjectives...right? :) Remember to use commas between the adjectives!

Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Chanel Gomez, I live in Orlando Florida. I got my bachelor’s degree in Education with an emphasis in English in 1994 in Havana, Cuba. I am a bilingual, English and Spanish Teacher. For many years I taught middle school and after that, I specialized in Pre-K and Kinder, that it is my absolute passion. Working with kids transmits strong and positive energy with one another, that can be converted to knowledge. I’m a firm believer that at an early age, kids’ brains are like sponges that absorb as much information as given. This can set a strong core in their life. After living in Miami for many years, I understood the importance of speaking a second language. This is why I incorporated basic Spanish into my Pre-K and Kindergarten classes, seeking to get kids familiarized with a second language.
