Come and join in the fun as we learn about adjectives with Barbie dolls. Bring your favorite Barbie doll, Barbie accessories, and play dough (or dough alternative) to class. We will take turns using adjectives while describing our Barbie dolls to the class. Next, we will use play dough to make Barbie accessories. Then we will take turns and share our creations with the class - using adjectives of course! This will be a fun learning class with our dolls. No required experience needed. I can't wait to see you in class!

What to bring to class: Your favorite Barbie doll Barbie doll accessories (optional) Playdough or alternative dough option to make accessories (gluten-free playdough is recommended for those who have a gluten allergen, intolerance, Celiac, etc.) *Note: Playdough contains gluten and cannot be used by students who are Celiac or have a gluten intolerance.

My name is Teacher Stephanie. Teaching is my passion!
All students can learn! Learning should be fun and engaging. You will find my classes to be exciting, educational, and focused on student engagement.
I have been a school teacher for the last 12 years. I have multiple certifications that have allowed me to teach a variety of subjects including intensive reading, all core classes (English, Math, PE, Science and History) as well as electives. I have also served as a special needs teacher for 6 years where I learned a variety of methods for teaching students with special needs. Over the last 12 years of teaching, I have taught all grade levels K-12! I use a differentiated approach that focuses on individual learning styles and student success.
I love animals! In my free time, I love to ride horses and work with animals. I am also a 4H volunteer. I have a horse, a rabbit, and three dogs (a lab, a golden retriever, and a tiny chihuahua).
My Philosophy:
Learning needs to be engaging. I believe all students can learn. Every student has a unique learning style and engagement is key to student success. You will find my classes to be fun, interesting, engaging, and educational!
